Drilon Tushemisht Waterscape Park was transformed into a vibrant stage of tradition, color, and emotion during the first edition of the nationwide children’s folklore festival “FolkKid”.
Set in the unique natural landscape of Drilon, 12 groups from Albania, Kosovo, and North Macedonia brought the richness of traditional costumes, authentic dances, and the culture of Albanian-speaking regions, creating a special atmosphere that connected generations through art and cultural heritage.
With talent, energy, and pride, the children performed traditional songs and dances, showing that our folkloric values continue to live on and are passed down from generation to generation.
Drilon Tushemisht Waterscape Park had the pleasure of hosting this celebration of Albanian culture, which not only promotes our national identity but also strengthens the connection between nature, tradition, and community.
“FolkKid” — a folklore festival organized by the Korçë Regional Council — came not only as a celebration of our national identity, but also as an initiative aimed at preserving and promoting folkloric values for future generations.
Thank you to all participants, organizers, and visitors who made this day unforgettable in the heart of Drilon. 💚
